Introduction to the PR Team

Hey everyone! This semester, the PR team included Caitlin, Avery, and Grace. We were responsible for all of the social media posts on Tik tok, Instagram, snap chat, and the website. We also sent the emails to everyone who sent in their submissions. Overall, the PR team has the least amount of responsibilities in comparison to the editing and design team. However, it’s not always as lax as it sounds. A lot of times, the editing team or design team are waiting on us to complete certain tasks- like responding to contributors, and compiling the information in an easy to access format. This means that we have to complete tasks in a timely manner, and make sure that all the information gets to where it needs to go. There’s a lot of collaboration between the PR team and both of the other teams to make sure everyone has the most up to date and accurate information possible.
