Tara's Spring Break

When someone hears “spring break”, they usually think of a tropical vacation to some place warm, a beach and palm trees in the background, and a tan to return with. They don’t think of Bismarck, North Dakota, which is where I had the pleasure of traveling to during the week of spring break. Really, I got lucky because the temperatures weren’t below freezing like they tend to be during the months that are meant to be spring (maybe Puxatawney Phil was right this year). I got to spend time with my grandmother, and we fine-dined at Olive Garden, though their breadsticks aren’t as good as they used to be.

I also spent time with my best friend and her boyfriend and got to meet their new bunny, a Jersey Wooly with half-lopped ears named Honey. On Saturday, I went thrifting with my friends and managed to get my hands on a 1973 vinyl of the soundtrack of Jesus Christ Superstar. However, I don’t have a record player, so it’s currently just sitting in my room. Maybe I’ll have to invest in a record player to play my singular record. But I had to have the vinyl, seeing as Jesus Christ Superstar is one of my absolute favorite musicals. Andrew Lloyd Webber has some bangers, sometimes.
