○ The heat of the kitchen, even with the open windows, is unbearable. The ticking

of the timer accompanied with the birds chirping and the bees buzzing envelopes

the room. The pitter-patter of children’s feet bounding along wooden floors while

they creak and groan beneath their weight, shrieks and laughter echoing through

the walls.
