A Perspective from a Non-Writer

During class registration, I was looking for one more upper level English course to finish up my gen ed credits. So, my advisor, knowing I am an art major, suggested that I take Literary Publications. Fast forward, and I joined Northern Ecelcta’s design team!

For me, the choice to be in the design team was easy as I don’t consider editing or social media my strong suits. Still, though, designing a journal was something new to me. There were new aspects I had to be conscious of. For example, due to the size of the journal, it was difficult to stay true to the original format of some of the writing pieces. Overall, it was a stressful but rewarding experience. We were able to put together an entire, published journal all in one semester. Great job to our whole class. :)
