Our launch party for Northern Eclecta’s 18th volume was a couple of weeks ago, and it was so much fun! I thought we had a great turnout, and all of us were dressed up beautifully. Things ran smoothly, everyone’s speeches went swimmingly (especially Phoebe’s speech for the Design Team, I thought she slayed it!) and it was just an amazing night overall. I was pleasantly surprised by how many of my favorite professors were there–Sarah Beck, Brady Bergeson, Sean Burt, and of course, Jamee Larson (although she was required to be there). The food prepared by the NDSU staff was great, too, although we were all a little surprised by the onions in the fruit dip.
