Avery's Introduction

Hello! My name is Avery Wiese, and I’m a part of Northern Eclecta’s design team. I’m a sophomore at NDSU (go Bison!) and I’m majoring in English with a Creative Writing minor. Following graduation, I plan on involving myself in the world of publications and book production. I’ve worked on Northern Eclecta in the past as a promotional team member, so it’s exciting to see and be a part of a different production aspect this year. I think it’s so important to provide NDSU students and community members with a project like Northern Eclecta. It’s a great way of rewarding artists for their creative efforts and showcasing their talent. Being involved with this class also rewards you with real-world experience, one of the most valuable things to gain in terms of education. When the latest volume of Northern Eclecta is produced, I hope readers like you will find enjoyment and be “wonderstruck” by what we and our featured artists have done.
